kitesurfing.2

According to the local kitesurfing community, the wind was ideal today, so after church, up to Barker's Beach we went.

We arrived just in time for a bbq on the beach (thanks guys!), after which they all hit the wind and surf.

You know what pink means. The girls are out there!

Getting air.

I learned from RL today that some kitesurfing terms are similar to snowboarding - toe-edge/heel-edge, goofy/regular...

I don't know the names of the tricks yet. I usually called every move, "Whoa."

I'm not sure how they don't run into each other.

 Big air.

It looks like a thrill.  I wonder if they sell purple kites?

  2. We tried out First Assembly of God (near First Baptist). Not bad! But we missed seeing you guys; we'll probably be back for another visit. :)
